Prayer Night

One body. One voice. One God.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

The Evening

We begin our evening the way the church has always begun - by lifting our voices in song.

We collect prayer requests written by those gathered. We bring them before the Lord together.

For the rest of our time, we pray through a specific theme as one body.

WHY WE PRAY TOGETHER

First Sunday of every month, one hour of singing, requests, and prayer.

There is no substitute for the gathered church on its knees.

The apostles devoted themselves to prayer, and so must we. Corporate prayer isn’t a suggestion - it’s a mark of a healthy church.

Private prayer sustains the individual. Corporate prayer sustains the body. We need both, and Prayer Night is where the body comes together.

Meeting on the first Sunday of every month gives our prayer life a rhythm. Rhythms build habits. Habits build a praying church.
