Give

Our ministry is supported entirely through the giving of members and attendees. Any gift, no matter how small, is welcome and appreciated. It is our aim to use these funds as efficiently as possible, to further the Lord's work in our community and beyond.

As we are a religious organization, all gifts to CFC are tax-deductible. In addition to being a religious organization, CFC is registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization.

Individual donation receipts are available upon request and year-end tax receipts are always sent out, provided you leave an email or physical address.

Other Offering Funds

When you donate online, you have the choice to choose which fund to donate to. None of these different funds should necessarily replace regular giving, but if you have extra and/or are looking for ways to give or contribute in a particular way, prayerfully consider giving to one of these specific funds. Here are some brief descriptions of the other funds if you are interested in donating!

  • Baby Bank Fund

The money donated to this fund gets put away to be used specifically for any needs that arise with our Baby Bank! See our Baby Bank ministry page for more info about what this ministry is all about!

  • Benevolence Fund

The money donated to this fund gets put away to be used specifically for unexpected needs that come up within our church body. We want to be well equipped to care for our members, and so we have this fund in order to help when needs arise.

  • Building Fund

The money donated to this fund gets put away to be used specifically on any building needs that arise. We have a facilities budget, but this is for any unexpected expenses that come up beyond the budget.

  • Security Fund

The aim of our security fund is to maintain and upgrade security-related aspects of our facility. Funds may be designated directly for security purposes, leaving the General Fund to focus on ministry and outreach.

  • Endowment Fund

An endowment fund for a nonprofit is a dedicated pool of donated assets, like stocks or cash, invested to generate long-term income. This provides financial stability and supports the organization's mission in perpetuity while keeping the original principal intact. These funds typically come from donor legacy gifts, or bequests, integrated into a donor's will or trust during estate planning. Future donations to nonprofits, often arranged during a donor's lifetime via their estate, will, retirement accounts, or insurance policies, provide significant, long-term support and enable donors to leave a lasting impact on causes they care about.

Other Giving Information

Qualified Charitable Distributions

As a 501(c)(3) organization, CFC may receive a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). It lets people 70½ and older donate up to $108,000 (for 2025) tax-free directly from their IRA to a charity, counting towards their Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) without increasing their taxable income, making it a smart way to lower taxes while supporting causes. This transfer must go directly from the IRA custodian to the qualified charity, not to the individual first, offering tax benefits even if you don't itemize deductions.

Corporate Matching Donations

Corporate matching donations are a philanthropic program where a company gives money to a nonprofit organization, usually a 501(c)(3), often doubling or tripling an employee's initial donation to the same cause, making it a powerful way to increase charitable impact with minimal extra effort from the donor. Consider checking whether your company offers such a program, to amplify your giving.

Clover Give (Amplify)

We have switched to recommending Zeffy as the preferred payment processor for all One Time and Monthly Recurring donations. This saves us more than 3% per transaction in processing fees and allows 100% of your donation to support our ministry.

Zeffy doesn't allow a weekly or bi-weekly donation, so for those that prefer Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or other payment setups, we recommend Planning Center Giving (with processing fees). These fees are lower than our previous payment processor.

Amplify Fees for 2026:

  • Visa, Mastercard, and Discover: your Flat rate of 3.00% + $0.69 per transaction will be adjusted to 3.18% + $0.76 per transaction.
  • Amex: your Flat rate of 3.80% + $0.64 per transaction will be adjusted to 3.87% + $0.71 per transaction.
  • ACH: your flat rate of 1.30% + $0.69 per transaction will be adjusted to 1.37% + $0.76 per transaction.
  • PayPal: your flat rate of 3.00% + $0.69 per transaction will be adjusted to 3.50% + $0.76 per transaction.
  • PCI Program Fee: your rate of $9.99 will be adjusted to $14.99 per month.
